Editing the Game Messages

To enter dialogues your player may encounter throughout the game, you'll want to click on 'Game Messages' button from the main menu.

Examples of messages would be if your player were to talk to another person in the game (the transcript of their conversation), or for example you have a BOOK you've created, and your player wants to READ BOOK the contents would be stored in a message.

From there, to create a new message, enter a new, unique ID in the ID Field (or click "+"), and enter the message to store in the Message area.

Once you've completed your message, click the Add/Update Message button to save your changes.

To edit a previously entered message, select the message from the Current Messages dropdown box, then click 'Edit Message.' Make the desired changes, and click 'Add/Update Messages.'

To remove a message you've created, select it in the 'Current Messages' dropdown box, then click 'Delete Message.'

Once finished with your system messages, click the 'Return to Menu' button to go back to the main menu.
