 Editing the Movement Map
The Movement Map is what determines how your players get to the different locations you created under the 'Edit Locations' menu.
To get started, select one of your locations from the "Movement Map for:" dropdown box, then click the 'Edit' button.
Along the lefthand side, there's 10 directions in which your player may possibly travel (north, west, southeast, down, etc). To allow free movement
from the location you're editing, into another location, you'll simply enter in the ID of the new location in the correct box (ie, if you wanted the
location you're editing to go into Location 4 when the player goes West, you would enter a '4' in the West box).
However, you're not only limited to those simple directions for movement. Let's say we have a Kitchen location that we're editing, and a separate
"Sitting at Kitchen Table" Location (say, ID 5) that we want the player to get to by typing something like "SIT AT TABLE". In the Nonstandard Movements box,
you would enter the key words to do the action (so you wouldn't use words like 'AT'), followed by the ID of the location. So if you were to editing the
Kitchen map, and entered "SIT TABLE 5" and that's all you need! Then, when editing the "Sitting at Kitchen Table" location, you would want to put in
nonstandard movements like "GET UP 4", then on the next line, "STAND UP 4", and maybe another "LEAVE TABLE" (assuming the Kitchen was #4), so the player
can get back to the original "Kitchen" location. (You'll also noticed we entered several different commands that accomplish the same thing-- This is to
reduce frustration on players who can't think of the same wording you did while designing it)
Once you've entered in all the movements for the location you're editing, click 'Save Map' to save those movements. Once you've entered all the movements
for your locations, you'll click 'Return to Menu' to return to the main menu.
