I just was running through with a scout with 40 fighters, and I was able to overtake 19 planets within 1000 turns (2 days worth). Now, I admit most of these planets were empty (0 fighters), but there were a few that had 10 or 15 fighters, that I could take over just as easily. In the end, the only thing I was injured by were space mines (hit by 7, which in turn destroyed 7 fighters, no spaceship damage).
My question is, shouldn`t there be collateral damage on planets with fighters fighting ships with fighters? If I attack a planet with 10 fighters, on a ship with 40, I would expect the loss of one or two of my fighters...
At any rate, this is a great game so far, keep up the good work.
PS. How long has this game been up and running online?
