I *think* once the planet is "abandoned" (ie, the player hasn't been back in like 30 days or whatever I set the threshold at), it will revert back to "native" ownership and become a free-trade planet like normal, with whatever fighters were on it there to defend it (and possibly citadel too, although that's getting into a sort of gray area)
gm i will have to locate the planet but there is a planet with either 10k fighters 100k fighters
