Good idea marco! But put that in a PM to GM(that rhymes!) or in the game suggestion forum.
My additions to this follows:
1.Types of unions are: Attacking unions, Defending unions, and trading unions.
2.You can choose what type of union you are on the union screen. But your activites can change it too.
3. To change a union type on union screen, at least half of the people have to approve.
This is going to help make star traders better for all of us.
