I am a new player. I have done enough trading to get a planetary scout and 40 cargo holds. I have 25 fighters and a route computer. my cargo holds are empty. I have 1505 credits. Yhu does it say i can't buy 1 more excavator?
An excavator requires 1 free bay of your ship (it won't be stored in a cargo hld). A planetary scout only has 40 bays and you have 40 cargo holds which means you can't buy an excavator.
You will have to sell one of your cargo holds before you can buy an excavator.
