Ever think that maybe someone just attacked the fighters you deployed and they were all destroyed? That could be why they just disappeared.
hmm since this topic has been brought in, I've faced no problems in xenon, but in plextor, i've MYSTERIOUSLY lost 15k fighters which i deployed & retrieved from a planet, & i had them before end of my turns day b4 yesterday but now i dont have them 15k today, & i also saw i was at sector 96 when i started today instead of being at sector 9 where i left my ship... :(
