Actually, Boxing Day used to be observed by all countries in the Commonwealth only. And, you are right. It was the day that servants or people that worked on Christmas would recieve their gifts. Boxing Day is now just an extention to Christmas. Here in Canada, it is a statutory Holiday.
Great, now all the mods are going to be expecting something. :P
